Rye Sazerac
Ingredients
- 1/2 fl oz Absinthe
- 2 fl oz Rye Whiskey
- 1/2 fl oz Simple Syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- 1 strip Lemon peel
Instructions
- Place ice cubes in a rocks glass, add Absinthe and swirl
- Drain glass but keep ice cubes
- Add ingredients to shaker with ice and stir
- Strain into rocks glass and twist lemon peel over it to express oil, then drop in glass
