  • 1/2 fl oz Absinthe
  • 2 fl oz Rye Whiskey
  • 1/2 fl oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • 1 strip Lemon peel


  • Place ice cubes in a rocks glass, add Absinthe and swirl
  • Drain glass but keep ice cubes
  • Add ingredients to shaker with ice and stir
  • Strain into rocks glass and twist lemon peel over it to express oil, then drop in glass
